We are excited to once again host our annual Photo, Art & Media Contest for the 2026 Annual Meeting!
Each year at the Annual Meeting, we host a Photo, Art, and Media Contest for our Texas Master Naturalist program members to showcase their passions, skills, and hard work from the previous year. For 2026, the contest will again be virtual. Be sure to read the rules in their entirety before entering.
The Photo, Art & Media Contest is being hosted by the Texas Master Naturalist Heart of Texas, Central Texas, and Rio Brazos Chapters.
Are you ready to share your best photographs? Did you capture a perfect image of a native prairie, bird, insect, or chapter member at work or play? Photographers may submit one photograph per category, so it’s time to start selecting your best to share with your fellow naturalists.
Can you draw, paint, sculpt, carve, sew, or stitch? Send us a photo or video showcasing your creativity.
Does your chapter have a fabulous newsletter, scrapbook, or brochure? We want to see how your chapter educates, records its history, or recruits new members.
Any current Texas Master Naturalist member can submit entries to the contests. Entries in our contests will be accepted from August 1, 2026, 12:00AM to September 1, 2026, 11:59 PM CT. Winners in each category will be selected by registered Annual Meeting attendees using the Annual Meeting App and will be announced during the Annual Meeting Contest Awards Ceremony.

2026 Annual Meeting Photo, Art & Media Contest – Pollinators for Texas Initiative Native Pollinator Sweepstakes
- New to this year’s Photo, Art & Media Contest, we are very excited to announce our first ever Native Pollinator Sweepstakes!
- This completely optional, random drawing is being hosted through the Pollinators for Texas (PfT) Initiative as an opportunity for all 2026 Contest entries featuring a native pollinator as their subject. Winners will receive a series of prizes generously provided by H-E-B, our PfT Initiative partners. Participation is not required but puts contestants in the running for an additional prize, separate from the attendee-voted PA&M Contest.
- When submitting your entries for the contest in PollUnit: there’s a checkbox that can be selected to indicate your decision to participate. All photos/art including wildlife subjects which are (1) pollinator species and (2) native to Texas are eligible. We encourage you to participate if able!
