Camera Trapping for Science (webinar)

June 25, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Camera trapping – using stationary game cameras to detect wildlife – is a great way to document observations of animals we often miss with traditional surveys and counts. Join Texas Nature Trackers Biologists Tania Homayoun and Craig Hensley for this webinar workshop introducing the basics of camera trapping, how to set up and manage a camera trap, and how to process and share your observations on iNaturalist. There will be a break with time to scout out potential places to set up a camera where you are, so we recommend having a smartphone or small camera handy.
