Email Listserv

Check out our Email Listserv to stay up to date on daily and weekly events, trainings, opportunities and other news!

 

The purpose of the Texas Master Naturalist Listserv is to provide a means of quickly distributing news, announcements, notification of events, grant opportunities, and other items pertinent to Texas Master Naturalist members. To sign up for this free service (you may unsubscribe at any time), please complete and submit the Texas Master Naturalist Listserv Sign-up form hosted by Texas A&M.

 


How to Sign-Up for the Listserv:

  • Click the Texas Master Naturalist Listserv Sign-Up link
  • Add your name and email address to the designated boxes
  • Select your subscription type. NOTE: With a regular subscription, you will receive individual postings immediately as they are processed. With a digest subscription, you receive larger messages with a collection of individual postings at regular intervals.
  • Select the “Subscribe” button and begin receiving emails!

 

How to Post to the Listserv:

Post on Listserv from a web browser and login:

  • Log into you Listserv account
  • Open the TMN Listserv page
  • Select the icon with three horizontal lines in the top right corner
  • Click on “Post Message”
  • Add in your subject and message to the proper fields
  • To add an attachment, select “Advance Settings” then “Choose File”
  • Click on the checkbox next to “Send a copy of the message to yourself,” then select the “Send Message” button in the bottom right corner

Post on Listserv using an email:

  • Create a new message and type tmn@listserv.tamu.edu into the “To” field
  • Add in your subject and message to the proper fields
  • Click “Send”

 

How to Unsubscribe from the Listserv:

To unsubscribe from our Listserv, you can:

  • Click the Texas Master Naturalist Listserv Sign-Up link
  • Add your name and email address to the designated boxes
  • Select the “Unsubscribe” button and begin receiving emails!

Or:

  • Log into you Listserv account
  • Click the “Subscriber Options” tab in the top left corner to open the drop-down menu
  • Select “Subscriptions” from the drop down menu
  • Select the TMN list by clicking the checkbox to the left of the name
  • Click the dropdown menu under “TMN” and click “Unsubscribe”
  • Select the “Update” button and you will stop receiving emails

Are opportunities sent through the Listserv approved for Advanced Training hours?
Emails sent through the TMN Listserv are not pre-approved for advanced training hours and must be reviewed by the chapters.

What kind of content can be posted to the Listserv?
The purpose of the Texas Master Naturalist Listserv is to provide a means of quickly distributing news, announcements, notification of events, grant opportunities, and other items pertinent to Texas Master Naturalist members. All content must relate to the Texas Master Naturalist program. If you would like to share chapter features, news or highlights, please fill out the Chapter News and Highlights form on our Naturalist News page.

What is the expected conduct for the Listserv?
All who post, respond or react to Listserv messages are expected to be kind and courteous to their fellow Texas Master Naturalist members. Inappropriate or rude posts or comments will be deleted.
