In 2023, the Texas Master Naturalist Program celebrated a big anniversary: 25 years! Through the Virtual Volunteer Fair, Storytelling Project, Season of Thanks, and many more projects, we recognized our chapters, thanked our volunteers across the state, and continue to grow as master naturalists. Below, you can find and enjoy all of the 25th Anniversary projects and highlights from the year.
Storytelling Project
To celebrate the wonderful Texas Master Naturalist community, we launched our silver anniversary storytelling project! Through your words and videos, we wanted to know what inspired you to be a Master Naturalist, from your very first training day, through years of volunteer conservation work, and into the future!
Texas Parks and Wildlife & Texas A&M AgriLife Extension
The Texas Master Naturalist Program is coordinated jointly by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

Season of Thanks
We would like to reflect on a new series we began this year, “Season of Thanks.” Season of Thanks was created to highlight TMN volunteer projects, service, and accomplishments to close out 2023. We invited you to interact with our social media posts and share with us what you are most thankful for! Over the course of the past two months, we heard from so many of you about what you are most thankful for as a master naturalist and were able to use this feedback to plan for the future.
25th Anniversary Survey
Please continue to fill out the 25th Anniversary Survey if you haven’t had a chance to yet! We’ll be adding to this page with the responses from your fellow master naturalists.
