Dr. Chris Distel will discuss hummingbird research that has been ongoing at Schreiner University for the past few years. This will cover evaluate standardized survey methods vs. incidental observations, and the use of citizen science (eBird) as a predictive tool for migration patterns. He will also provide more general tips on finding and identifying birds.
Even though this is a webinar, you are encouraged to have binoculars available if you are able.
